Chandigarh, 26 July – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij responding to mediapersons’ questions about the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, said that “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is great and he understands the feelings of youth well, so he accepted their concerns. This proves that Modi ji is a true democrat and has full faith in democracy; therefore I salute Narendra Modi.”
Energy Minister Anil Vij said that many agitations have taken place in this country; many times lathis were used, many times bullets were fired, and many people were killed, yet governments remained unmoved and did not yield. But Modi ji accepted the youth’s plea and thereby proved that his heart is connected to India’s 140 crore people and that he understands their feelings. Even until midnight he kept sending messages through social media. Narendra Modi is great, understands people’s sentiments, and acts accordingly.
He also said that he knows Dharmendra Pradhan personally; Pradhan is a good man and a good politician. A mistake occurred in his department and in view of that he submitted his resignation.

Regarding demands for the Punjab education minister’s resignation after Delhi, Energy Minister Anil Vij said that they too should resign; when people demand others’ resignations, they should have their own resignation in their pocket. When Aam Aadmi Party loudly demanded resignations, Kejriwal should have taken his minister’s resignation with him when going there.
“During Hooda’s time many papers were leaked; if he had accepted responsibility then, such leaks would not have happened today,” said Anil Vij, responding to former chief minister Bhupinder Hooda’s remark that if Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had resigned earlier the movement would not have grown so much. Vij countered that Hooda himself was chief minister when many papers were leaked, and if he had accepted responsibility then, the current situation and paper leaks would not have arisen.
