Chandigarh, May 29 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini expressed gratitude to Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Sh. Nitin Gadkari for giving the people of Kurukshetra a major gift, a bypass, which will act as a lifeline for the city. He said this is not just a bypass for Kurukshetra, but a major relief for road connectivity, which people had been waiting for for a long time. The announcement of the bypass has brought great happiness among the residents of Kurukshetra.
The Chief Minister said Kurukshetra has received a 27.9-km-long bypass project. The bypass will pass through the southern part of Kurukshetra. It will start from Indbari near Jyotisar on the Kurukshetra-Pehowa road and connect State Highway-6, MDR-119, Kirmach Road, Amin Road and National Highway-44 before ending at village Mathana on State Highway-6.
Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the project will not only reduce traffic pressure at Pipli Chowk but will also provide permanent relief from traffic jams in Kurukshetra city. After completion of the project, travel towards Delhi, Yamunanagar, Haridwar, Punjab and Kaithal will become easier and safer.
He said easier connectivity to Brahma Sarovar, Jyotisar and other religious places will boost tourism, trade, investment and employment in Kurukshetra. He added that this bypass is not just a project but a symbol of the commitment of the triple-engine government towards development.
The Chief Minister once again thanked Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for this important project.
