Chandigarh, July 31 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini paid heartfelt tributes to the great freedom fighter and symbol of indomitable courage, Shaheed Udham Singh Ji, on his martyrdom day.
Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini paid floral tributes to the portrait of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji at Sant Kabir Kutir, his official residence here, and remembered his unparalleled sacrifice. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Shaheed Udham Singh Ji’s indomitable courage, unwavering patriotism and supreme sacrifice for the honour of the motherland constitute an immortal chapter in the golden pages of Indian history.
Paying homage to the martyr, the Chief Minister said, “The nation will always remain indebted to his bravery, dedication and supreme sacrifice. The resolve and patience he demonstrated in securing justice for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre are unparalleled.”
He further said that the life and ideals of Shaheed Udham Singh Ji will continue to inspire future generations to walk the path of patriotism, sacrifice and service to the nation. The Chief Minister added that everyone should imbibe the ideals of such great revolutionaries and work towards the progress and prosperity of the nation and the State.
